Newsletter cost:  Winston and Theresa had offered to print it.   What are the newsletter costs?

Two Surveys

First was included in our water bills.  The city has been making mention that they wanted the citizens input on this next budget. Our city needs to know there are residents that want to be heard.

Second is a part of the comprehensive plan update.

https://www.millwoodwa.us/periodic-updates to view and/or take the survey.

Also, get as many people/businesses to the final Argonne project meeting. The mayor said county, fire, police, school district representatives would be there.  Many have said it is pointless to go, but just having opportunity to voice to people “outside” of Millwood that it is not a popular project is worthwhile.  Thursday 9/19 6-8pm

Millwood selling water is found in these links

From 8/13 meeting, either towards the end of the first link, or in the second link which is the last 20 minutes of the council meeting.

from 9/10 meeting.  The council asked many questions and the mayor offered to have experts come in if the council wanted it.

The question was asked if selling water would lower water bills, and the mayor said it may prevent them from going up.  Then he explained the sad state of our water system.

Issue Research and Presentation

This page will include the information we find while we are researching an issue.  It is a place people will will submit what they are finding and a one stop place for people to discover what has been found.  Also a place to present the pro’s and con’s of what has been found.  It is a place to catalog our discovery and discussion all in one place so we do not have to look through a list of emails.  See the whole picture here.
