In (find the month) Mayor Freeman suggested a change to the long standing single touch system of addressing city council action items.  In this system the council received the information late the week before the council meeting.  The reason for sending out the information so late was to prevent agenda changes during the meeting.

Mayor Freeman suggest we go to a tow touch format.  First touch the information is presented to the city council, and second touch takes place the next month’s council meeting.  Instead of 3 or 4 days to process the info the city council now has a month.

Millwood Citizens also have the same month to do there own research and make comments to the council.

This page is also a work in progress.  We will look up the link to the city council meeting where this was proposed.
